The traditional ancient texts of Ayurveda describe 3 Pillars of Health.

In this nurturing weekend retreat for women, we explore how the 3 classical Pillars also reveal hidden pathways to your intuition and inner wisdom, leading to true vibrancy. You will leave the weekend with practical inspiration you can apply to your life right away.

The first Pillar is Food, pointing us to the pathway of Digestion. If we cannot digest what we eat, it doesn’t matter how “healthy” it is. All the dosha-specific lists of foods we should or shouldn’t eat distract us from the simple actions we must do to heal and support good digestion. Our digestion constantly reveals our inner knowing and intuition, if we know how to listen for it.

The second Pillar is Sleep, exposing the pathway of the mind and nervous system. When we live with constant stimulation and stress, dropping into restorative sleep can feel impossible. Ayurveda holds key guidance that makes deep sleep not only possible, but predictable – information that is even more vital in times of acute stress or life transitions like postpartum and perimenopause.

The third Pillar is Sexuality and Energy Management, for which women have a customized guide – our own unique menstrual cycle. Our sexuality can serve as a wellspring of vibrancy and intuition, which is fed by these inner waters. While mainstream society teaches us to hide or ignore menstruation, our cycle actually gives us the most powerful pathway to build, use, and restore our energy, once we know how to follow it.

Held in the beautiful and serene setting of Satchidananda Ashram Yogaville in central Virginia, this weekend offers space to slow down, reconnect, and embody these teachings in a supportive and sacred environment.

In this program, you will discover:

  • Specific, inspiring ways to establish these 3 Pillars of Vibrancy in your life to tap into your inner wisdom
  • 6 eating habits most people do that completely disrupt digestion – and what to do instead
  • Why elimination is so critical to your health, and how to make it happen every day
  • 4 secrets to falling back asleep in the wee hours of the morning
  • A new framework for understanding sleep that changes everything
  • How to use your menstrual cycle as your personalized energy map (even if you are in menopause)

Testimonies:

Ivy is so helpful and wise, and her manner is gentle and supportive. She seems so unassuming and demure, but don’t be fooled – she’s like a ninja, helping us see our own blind spots, so fierce and so loving at the same time. She is like a black belt in self-care!  ~ Tiffany L., Hillsborough, NC

I feel deeply appreciative for Ivy’s compassion, knowledge and ability to translate a 5000 year old system of healing in a way that makes it accessible for those of us living busy, demanding lives today. I feel healthful, empowered, and capable. ~ Taylor N., Seattle, WA

You’re not only a mentor or coach, you’re like a true guru who guides each one of us just the right amount and holds us there, so we can bring in these practices and change our lives. ~Divya R., Austin, TX
