Become a Yoga Teacher!

This is Part 2 of 2. The 200-Hour Integral Yoga Teacher Training is one program in two parts, and it begins online with Part 1 on February 14, 2027. Part 2 is open to students who have completed Part 1. To start the training, apply on the Part 1 page.

In a world of stress, Yoga is the need of the hour. An Integral Yoga teacher training gives you a full spectrum of peace practices to offer your community. Along the way, most students discover that their own lives are transformed in the most beautiful ways.

This 200-hour course is offered in two parts: the first 80 hours online, along with 20 hours of at-home practice, and the remainder in person at the beautiful Yogaville ashram in Virginia.

  • Part 1: Online, February 14–April 25, 2027. Thursday evenings for two hours and Sundays for seven hours.
  • Part 2: In residence at Yogaville, August 15–29, 2027.

Two Weeks at the Ashram

Part 2 completes the training that began online. You arrive with the foundation already laid and spend two weeks immersed in the rhythm of ashram life: meditation and Hatha Yoga morning and evening, sessions through the day, and meals taken in community. You practice each day, learn to teach, and practice teaching. By the end, you have strengthened your own practice and are well prepared to share it with others.

Teachers

The Teacher Training will be conducted by Swami Divyananda Ma, supported by Saci Murphy and Krishna Howeth. Together, this team will lead you through the wonders of the Yoga science while keeping the class experience light and fun.

Prerequisite

Completion of Part 1, online, February 14–April 25, 2027. Between the two parts, from May through mid-August, you continue your practice and study at home.

Hours and Certification

Part 2 is the in-person half of the training, the remaining 100 of the 200 hours.
Graduates of both parts receive a diploma certifying them to teach Integral Yoga Level 1 classes and are awarded 200 Yoga Alliance hours.

Tuition

$4,200 for the full 200-hour training: Part 1 online and Part 2 in residence at Yogaville, including accommodations and meals. You must enroll in Part 1 and Part 2 to qualify for certification as an Integral Yoga teacher. Enrollment in a single part is considered in rare cases, with the Lead Teacher’s approval. Please contact the Integral Yoga Academy.
