Wes Barnett Group Retreat

The following Agreement is made between Sathidananda-Ashram Yogaville Group Services and Wes Barnett for the test from Jan 31, 2020–Feb 2, 2020.

By following the ‘Sign Group Agreement’ button and paying on the next page you agree to the details as described below.

Satchidananda-Ashram Yogaville Group Services agrees to provide the following

Shri Nivas Retreat Center:

– Retreat Center Accommodations and Studio Space

FIRST DAY Check-in time: 2:00 pm
– First session starts: 4:00 pm
– First meal: Dinner 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
LAST DAY Check-out time: 4:00 pm
– Last Meal: Lunch 12:45 pm – 1:30 pm

Meals:

Includes buffet dinner on arrival day; continental breakfast at retreat center or buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and buffet dinner during your stay; and continental breakfast or buffet breakfast and buffet lunch on your departure day. All buffet style meals will be served in Sivananda Hall and buffet will be solely based on what the Ashram Kitchen is serving for that meal.

Breakfast is served from 8 am–9:30 am, lunch from 12:45 pm–1:30 pm, and dinner from 6:30 pm–7:30 pm (Sun–Fri nights) and 5:30 pm–6:30 pm (Sat night).

Retreat Center Set-up:

Shri Nivas Retreat Center Studio
– White Board, Flip Chart and Markers. Please request 30 days in advance
– Floor pillows/blankets and/or back-jacks up to 2 semi-circle rows in front of presentation area
– Chairs up to 2 semi-circle rows behind floor pillows/blankets and/or back-jacks facing presentation area

Audiovisual Services
– Projector available upon request 30-days out.
– TV and DVD player are available in Retreat Center for your use.

Spa Facilities:

Group participants have access to and use of Hot-tub at the Shri Nivas Retreat Center

Shri Nivas Retreat Center Rates

Rates:

Center Rental Fee – $1500.00 per night for up to 13 people
-$500 Winter Rates Discount

Retreat Center Price Break-down:

Number of Nights: 2
Number of Participants: 13
– Group Services needs to be notified immediately if this number changes so price may be adjusted accordingly

Accommodation Amount: $2500

Deposit:

A $500.00 deposit is required to hold the Retreat Center and requested dates.
– This deposit is non-refundable, and depending on retreat space availability, it may be applied to another date range.

Payment Due:

Payment in full is due thiry days before the Groups scheduled arrival date.
Satchidananda Ashram – Yogaville Group Services has the right to cancel the group retreat if full payment is not received by thirty days before the Groups scheduled arrival date. No refund or credit of the $500.00 deposit will be given.

Additional Days

Subject to availability, participants may make advanced reservations to extend their stay before or after the event. Reservations are made through Satchidananda-Ashram Reservations Center at our Guest Stay rates found here: accommodation rates

Transportation Services and Cost

Ashram Vicinity Transportation

Transportation to and from the Ashram and the retreat center and around Yogaville is the responsibility of the group leader and the group retreatants.

Getting to and from Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville and Charlottesville VA

Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville can provide transportation to and from the Ashram and Charlottesville VA at the Airport (CHO), Train Station, or Bus Station between the hours of 9 am–8 pm.
– $50.00 each way to or from Charlottesville ($100 roundtrip)
– There is a group rate to be determined upon group interest. Contact group services directly at groupservices@yogaville.org
– Each individual participant is required to contact group services directly at groupservices@yogaville.org with their arrival and/or departure information, group traveling assignments, and group services will arrange for payment invoices for each individual with SAYVA Ashram Reservations Center.

Group Agreements

Contact Information:

The Group Leader agrees to communicate their retreat participants First and Last names, Email, and Cell-phone to the Group Services office thirty days before the groups scheduled arrival date. Every guest is required to sign in when they arrive at the retreat center.

Ashram Lifestyle:

The Group Leader agrees to and will make sure every member of their group is aware of and agrees to the following: Satchidananda Ashram – Yogaville does not allow meat, fish, fowl, eggs, alcohol, tobacco, or non-prescription drugs on the premises. I promise that my group retreat participants and I will not bring any of those items on the premises. I understand that there may be consequences if someone in my group decides to bring any of the above-mentioned items on the premises. In addition there is a strict No Smoking Policy. If smoking does occur in any of our accommodations, there will be a $250 charge for cleaning the room. If found not adhering to these guidelines, you may be asked to leave the premises.

General Ashram Activity Disclaimer:

The Group Leader agrees to and will make sure every member of their group is aware of and agrees to the following: By participating in yoga classes and all other programs and events at Satchidananda Ashram – Yogaville Inc I agree that the said Satchidananda Ashram – Yogaville Inc is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings. I also agree to assume full responsibility for any injuries which might occur to me and agree that neither I, my heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Satchidananda Ashram – Yogaville Inc for any personal injury or other loss or damage which may occur on its premises.

Group Cancellation Policy

The Group Leader will give at least 30 days notice in the event they need to Cancel their group. With 30-days notice total amount may be kept as credit good for 1 year to be applied towards new Group Retreat Dates. With less then 30-days notice no refund or credit will be given.

Inclement Weather:

– In the event of hazardous weather, SAYVA may need to close the retreat houses before your Group Retreat begins. The Group Leader will receive notice as soon as possible. No refunds will be given, however depending on retreat space availability; it may be applied to another date range. If the group leader needs to cancel due to inclement weather, the Group Services staff will try to reschedule your retreat within 12 months of the original date, depending on date and retreat house availability
