Spring Silent Retreat: Budding Potential
with
April 20 - 23, 2017
Spring is the season for growth and new beginnings. Use your time at Yogaville’s silent retreat to get in touch with your inner compass and create positive intentions for the year to follow.
This retreat is open to everyone—from beginners to advanced Yoga retreatants. Those who are new to meditation or to Yoga practices will receive full instruction; those with experience will have the opportunity to explore more deeply.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Reconnect with your inner guidance and wisdom
- Unwind in the tranquil countryside
- Gain insight from the guidance of senior teachers
- Relax and strengthen the body and mind through classes in Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, pranayama (breathing practices), and deep relaxation
The more we are present in the moment, the more we connect with our natural inner strength and balance, experiencing the sacredness and deep joy of daily life. A silent retreat offers the opportunity to achieve your own inner goals.
You will also have the opportunity to seek support or clarification by asking questions in writing.
Rather than retreating by ourselves to an isolated cabin somewhere, we join a group of people who are participating in the silent retreat.
The experience is quite different than a personal retreat or taking a retreat in which people talk to one another. In a silent retreat, there is a group synergy that forms. Everyone in the group is there to turn inward and be silent. By being there together with this motivation a beautiful energy is created. The air around the group seems to vibrate. There is a connectedness even without any outward communication. Being in the energy seems to aid everyone in focusing, going deeper and healing.
Weekend retreats are powerful. Great transformations have been seen in retreat participants from just three days of introspection and supportive Yoga practice.
Testimonials
I came to evaluate my life and take a step back. I do feel I got what I came for! The food, the meditation, the instruction are valuable, but mostly it was a TRUE reset. That’s hard to find out there! — Erin Bishop
This is my third silent retreat here in the last six years. I came here because I knew it was what I needed. I have been taking annual retreats as a kind of yearly refresher/booster. I love the teachers and their talks. — Melissa Richards, Spring 2016
