Mindfulness for Busy People: A Joyful Approach to the Holidays
with Michael Rhadeya Plasha, E-RYT 500, RPYT
December 6 - 8, 2024
It can be challenging to integrate intentional spiritual practices at home. Sometimes our habits and responsibilities can sidetrack us from our intentions especially during the holidays.
We will review key practices from Rhadeya Michael Plasha’s previous program Mindfulness for Busy People that are timeless and introduce new practices that consider personal and family dynamics during the holidays and lay the groundwork to start the New Year with a conscious plan for a truly joyful New Year!
Learn to stay present amidst the busyness of work, family, errands and activities. Discover moments of silence and calm while being engaged with others. Gain valuable insights into how to navigate family dynamics with poise and compassion.
Your embodied practices will establish you in non-reactive self-awareness or presence of the present, with the tools you need to stay calm when life can appear to be stormy.
In this weekend retreat, you will learn how to accept yourself and others with compassion.
Learn and Practice:
- How to cultivate mindfulness and loving kindness throughout your day
- Learn how to manage expectations
- Integrate presence into your everyday life
- Create an intentional wellness plan for the New Year
* Learn how to be a mediator in a “house divided” - Take home a tool kit of mindfulness and loving kindness practices
