Bring your children with you this weekend!

This is a childcare program for guests who come to visit with children ages 5–11!

While you enjoy your program, you can feel confident that the kids will be well looked after by our experienced staff and entertained through a variety of fun activities. Arts and crafts, music, dance, drama, hiking, and games will keep them busy and laughing throughout the weekend. In addition, they’ll learn about ashram life, Integral Yoga, and Sri Swami Satchidananda.

Kids arriving Friday can join in.

Thursday

4 pm   Registration
6 pm   Connect with families and meet in Multi-Purpose Room of Sivananda Hall
6:30    Dinner (with parents)
7:30    Team Building activities, Hatha Yoga, deep relaxation, and chanting

Friday

Morning
8 am   Breakfast (with parents)
9:30    Nitya Living Hatha class, meditation, deep relaxation, chanting, inspirational storytime, coloring, and free time
10:30  Hiking
12 pm Free time: games, legos, coloring, playground
12:45  Lunch (with parents until 2 pm)

Afternoon
2 pm  Drive to LOTUS, swim at the lake (weather permitting) or walking meditation
3:45   Basic sound of OM, chanting. Reading: Brother Eagle Sister Sky. Make dream catchers with Dhyani.
5:15   Free Time: games, legos, coloring, playground
6:30  Dinner (with parents until 7:30)

Evening
7:45   Nitya Living Hatha class with meditation and Yoga Nidra
8:15   Reading: Inside Out – Discuss Raja Yoga
8:45   Free Time (LOTUS is lit up)
9:30   Back to Sivananda Hall for parents to pick up kids

Saturday

Morning
8 am   Breakfast (with parents)
9:30    Nitya Living Hatha class, meditation, deep relaxation, inspirational story, and chanting
10:30  Reading: The Bhagavad Gita for Children – Discuss Jnana Yoga. Walk to identify the Mother Tree in the woods and sing Earth My Body
11:30  Free Time
12:45  Lunch (with parents 12:45–2 pm)

Afternoon and Evening
2 pm  Visit the Yogaville Farm
3:30   Reading: Child’s Journey into Yoga – Japa Yoga, the Yoga of chant
4 pm  Yoga Nidra, meditation, chanting
4:30   Free Time
5:30   Dinner (with parents)
7:30   Evening Satsang (kids can stay with parents or watch part of kirtan and sit together with Nitya. Multi-Purpose-Room available for other activities)

Sunday

Morning
8 am   Breakfast (with parents)
9:30    Nitya Living Hatha class, meditation, Yoga Nidra, chanting, and reading: Beyond Words
10:15   Reading: The Tree
10:30  Outside meditation with a tree and collectively we will intuit its song
11 am  Free Time
12 pm Karma Yoga and Closing Circle
12:45  Lunch (with parents)
